STEVENS POINT — “Paint Loose and Free!”

In this workshop, you’ll learn from the exquisite master of both watercolor and oil, John Singer Sargent. Step by step with your instructor’s guidance, you’ll learn brushwork, color, and the Master’s signature techniques. By the end of the day, you’ll be painting your own intepretation “in the style of” Sargent. You’ll expand your own painting skills and recharge your creative juices. And get a bit of art history too. You’ll be amazed at your final paintings “in the style of” Sargent.

All levels are welcome, including beginners. All media: oil, acrylic, pastel or watercolor. Instructor will demo in watercolor.  Bring your own supplies or contact instructor for recommendations.A lunchtime DVD on Sargent’s Life and Work will also be shown. Bring bag lunch. Or we’ll order out.
