Lawrence ‘Larry’ Tryba

Lawrence “Larry” Tryba, 68, Junction City, died at his home Thursday, March 15, 2018.
A funeral service was held Thursday, March 22, at Martens/Rembs Funeral Home in Junction City, with Deacon Ray Draeger officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation was held at the funeral home before the service.

Mr. Tryba was born Nov. 6, 1949, a son of the late Harry and Dorothy (Kessler) Tryba. He graduated from Mosinee High School in 1968.
After graduation, he served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He spent almost five decades working for Hughes Service Inc. in Milladore as an auto body mechanic.
He was married to Carol Fadze Oct. 4, 1975, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Milladore. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include two children, Cynthia (Thad) Swing and Steven Tryba; his brothers and sisters, Mike Tryba, Johnny (Paulette) Tryba, Jean (Jim) Kohnhorst and Clarence (Judy) Tryba; one brother-in-law, Gary Kronstedt; and two grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Kronstedt and Rose Brown; and one sister-in-law, Sue Tryba.
