Willingness to help, passionate, desire to make an impact, cautious, and eagerness to learn about others: these traits are synonymous with effective public servants. They’re also synonymous with Jami Gebert, candidate for Portage County Executive.

I’ve known Jami for nearly as long as I’ve been a resident of Portage County. Introductions were first made as members of the Rotary Club and our relationship developed as we worked closely on the Toys for Tots campaign over the course of several years. Jami has a tremendous work ethic and truly exemplifies service above self.

Jami’s knowledge and experience quickly differentiate her from others seeking to serve Portage County in this capacity. She’s the only candidate with first-hand knowledge of the role. She understands the complexities and nuances and associated with the vast responsibilities, and that level of knowledge will serve the County well.
