Extra Precaution Taken After Threat Made to Amherst School

AMHERST — According to various sources, parents of students in the Tomorrow River School District in Amherst claim to have received text messages regarding a threat made to the school.
Additional details reveal that the threat has stemmed from a message written on a bathroom wall stating to ‘look out for Friday, March 16th’ — As a result, additional security has been added in the building today.
School will remain in session today with heightened security, though morning activities have been cancelled. Extra police presence at the school will see students check their bags before entering, which will be limited to specific doors.
