For the 14th year, the Boys & Girls Club of Portage County will host its largest annual fundraising event with the goal of benefiting youth in the county while offering a fun event for adults.

The 14th annual Taste of Wine & Cheese event will take place Friday, April 6, at the Noel Hangar, located at the Stevens Point airport. The event attracts more than 800 guests who help support the Boys & Girls Club youth and its programming.

Tickets are $75 per person and are available at Trig’s in Stevens Point, at the Boys & Girls Club Berard Center in Stevens Point, or online at www.bgclubpc.org/wine_and_cheese.

The club’s fundraising goal for this year’s Wine & Cheese event is to raise $150,000 to help cover the ever-increasing costs of serving more youth. The club annually increases the number of youth it serves, with a mission of serving all youth, especially those who need it the most, for a minimal cost of $10 per child per year.
