Ernestine R. Lazare
Ernestine R. Lazare, 80, died at her home Sunday, March 18, 2018, while under the care of Aspirus Hospice and her sister, Dolores Shudarek.
Private family funeral services will be held.
Mrs. Lazare was born Feb. 15, 1934, a daughter of the late Peter and Genevieve Shudarek.
She was married to Myron Lazare June 21, 1954, after she “stole his heart as the best looking gal at prom.”
She was employed at the Telephone Company as a switchboard operator and later at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point food service where she retired.
She was active in her church.
Survivors include her husband, Myron Lazare; children, four Michael (Karen) Lazare, Chris (Tammy) Lazare, Rhody (Sara) Lazare and Michelle (Dean) Garski; one sister, Dolores Shudarek; one brother, Don “Rose” Shudarek; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
