Brian L. Woznicki, 48, Stevens Point, died Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital after a long battle with colon cancer.

A Funeral Mass was held Tuesday, March 27, Holy Spirit Parish in Stevens Point. Burial will be held in Forest Cemetery at a later date.

Visitation will be at Boston Funeral Home in Stevens Point from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 26, and at the church from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the Mass.

Mr. Woznicki was born Dec. 23, 1969, in Wausau, a son of Alan “Abe” and Patricia “Pat” (Bleier) Woznicki. He attended the local grade schools and graduated from D.C. Everest High School in 1988.

He worked as an apprentice electrician and tended bar at Club Forest before joining the family at Boston Funeral Home as a funeral assistant.

He was married to April Boston Oct. 2, 2004.

Brian was an avid sportsman who enjoyed going fishing up north at the Mondeaux Retreat and deer hunting at the Hatley 40. He spent his free time competing in BBQ competitions around the state.

Survivors include his wife, April; two sons, Joshua, 11, and Lucas, 8; his parents, Abe and Pat Woznicki, Weston; one brother, Scott (Kristy), Woburn, Mass.; his father- and mother-in-law, Bill and Mary Boston, Plover; two brothers-in-law, Nathan (Amy) Boston, Plover, and Chris Boston, New Orleans, La.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
