You can’t beat internships for experience

Local businesses like Marten Machining and Sentry Insurance Company among others provide internships so the intern can hit the ground running on the first day when hired. Jami Gebert will hit the ground running on the first day because she has worked in the office of the County Executive for the past 8 years.

She knows all of the tasks of the office. She knows the budget and she knows the limitations imposed on the County by the State. She knows how to work with the County Board, the County Departments, and County citizens to set priorities to address the County needs within budget limitations.

She is also involved in leadership or as active citizen with groups to accomplish tasks for the benefit of citizens and the County that government can’t do. Jami still maintains her family farm roots by “throwing bales” and other chores as needed.

Vote for Jami Gebert on April 3rd. She will know what to do on day one.
