Glen E. Kniprath, 65, Rudolph, died Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at his residence.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 7, at Boston Funeral Home in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Dwight Anderson officiating.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 a.m. Saturday until the service.

Mr. Kniprath was born in Wisconsin Rapids, a son of the late Earl and Lucille (Boyer) Kniprath, the youngest of seven children. He grew up in Nekoosa, attended local schools and graduated from Alexander High School.

He earned an associate’s degree in Instrumentation at Mid-State Technical College.

He was married to Deborah R. Brooks July 25, 1992, in Rudolph, and they recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary.

He worked 18 years as a general laborer at the Reed Brothers farm. He spent 27 years at Specialty Minerals as an operator technician.

In his younger years, he skied with the Wisconsin Rapids aqua skiers, volunteered with the Plainfield Fire Department and was a member of the Civil Air Patrol. In retirement, he drove Lamers School Bus out of Junction City.

Survivors include his wife, Deb, Rudolph; five children, Christy (Scot), New Berlin, Ryan, Waukesha, Adam, St. Louis, Mo., Tim, Plainfield, and Megan (Ben), New Berlin; six siblings, Mary (Bill), Dave (Nancy), Hank (Darlene), Nancy (Bill), Diane and Chris (Bob); and seven grandchildren.
