Lifeguard Certification, Recertification Offered at UW-Stevens Point

STEVENS POINT — Courses for lifeguard certification or recertification will be offered at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point this spring.

The Special Needs Aquatics Program will offer the following American Red Cross lifeguard courses from noon to 6 p.m. at the UW-Stevens Point Aquatic Center and Suomi Family Aquatic Classroom. Participants attend all classes for each course:

  • Lifeguard Certification – Sundays, April 22 and 29 and May 6, $220 for the public or $180 for UW-Stevens Point students
  • Lifeguard Recertification – Sunday, April 29, and Wednesday, May 16, $115 for the public or $80 for UW-Stevens Point students
