James S. Kluck

James Stanley “Jim” Kluck, 46, Stevens Point, died Friday March 30, 2018, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
A celebration of life service with military honors was held Thursday April 5, at Woodlands Church in Plover.
Visitation was at the Pisarski Funeral Home in Stevens Point Wednesday and at the church Thursday.

Mr. Kluck was born Oct. 4, 1971, a son of the late Sara and Richard (Pliske) Kluck. He attended Stevens Point Area Senior High School and graduated in May 1990.
He served in the U.S. Army, receiving the Army Service Ribbon, Army Lapel Button, National Defense Service Medal, M16 Marksman Badge and Overseas Service Ribbon.
He was married to Jody L. Soik Nov. 28, 1991, at a small intimate military ceremony. They later celebrated their marriage Dec. 22, 1992, with a ceremony at St. Peter Church in Stevens Point.
He worked at Consolidated Papers as an instrumentation electrician until his health no longer allowed him to.
Survivors include his wife, Jody Kluck; four sons, Quinton, Gavin, Tanner and James; three daughters, Kaitlyn, Kathryn (Jake) Studinski and Brieanne; two brothers, Charles (Lori) Kluck and Ken Pliske; one sister, Peggy Wierzba; and three grandchildren.
