Second City to visit Stevens Point April 7

For the fourth consecutive year, Chicago improve group The Second City is returning to Stevens Point.

This year, the show is “Look Both Ways Before Talking” and will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 7, at Sentry Theater. Tickets are $35 for general seating and $50 for premiere. The event is sponsored by CREATE Portage County.

The title of the show refers to the content and the feeling of having to look over one’s shoulder before saying something. Audience members can expect an edgy and funny show that dives into touchy subjects, awkward small talk and everything people are thinking but are afraid to say out loud.

As it has previously, the show features improvised comedy, audience interaction, and of-the-moment sketches and songs. Because of the content, the show is intended for an adult audience.

The Second City is nearing 60 years of leading in improv and sketch comedy. The group is notorious for generating famous alumni including Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert, Steve Carrell, Amy Poehler and many others.
