Stevens Point Area Schools to Close on Tuesday

After carefully monitoring the weather that will be moving into our area and predicted road conditions for tomorrow, the decision has been made to close school for Tuesday, April 3. We believe this will be the safest option for students and staff. All after-school activities scheduled in the District are also canceled.
Each year the district builds two snow days into the school-year calendar. This will be the third snow day of the year, meaning the school year will be extended by one day. The last day for students will be Wednesday, June 6, 2018.
This decision has not been made lightly, and we appreciate your understanding and patience as we work together to ensure the safe transportation of our students.
