Snow Emergency Declared for Plover

PLOVER — The Village of Plover have announced a snow emergency, effective at midnight on April 14 through 12:00 p.m. on April 16.
“Snowplowing operations have been declared completed by the Public Works Manager, a snow emergency is being declared in the Village of Plover by reason of heavy snow and blizzard. Village ordinance states that no person shall park, stop or leave standing any vehicle upon the streets or any portion of the streets whenever snow falls during any period of 24 hours or less and reaches a depth or conditions that constitute a serious public hazard impairing transportation and public health, safety and welfare.”
Chief of Police Daniel Ault has stated that vehicles in violation of snow emergency parking regulations may be towed at the expense of the owner.
