Marvin E. Fletcher

Marvin E. Fletcher, 85, town of Buena Vista, died unexpectedly at his home Saturday April 14, 2018.
Services were held Wednesday April 18, at the Plover – Shuda Funeral Home in Plover, with Pastor Jim Verkest officiating. Burial will be at Liberty Corners Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation was at the funeral home Wednesday.

Mr. Fletcher was born Sept. 9, 1932, in the town of Buena Vista, a son of the late George and Esther (Sitzer) Fletcher. He graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1950.
He worked on the family farm all his life, most recently running it with his brother.
He served in the Wisconsin National Guard from 1954-1961.
He was married to Judith Barden Oct. 31, 1959, at Buena Vista Methodist Church where he was a lifelong member.
Survivors include his wife, Judith; two children, Kyle Fletcher and Paula (Rick) Miller; one brother, Norman (Lavon) Fletcher; one sister-in-law, Marcia Fletcher; three grandsons; and one great-grandson.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Randall and Maurice; and one sister-in-law, Myrtle Fletcher.
