Marion Alice Greco, 88, formerly of Polonia, a former owner of Greco’s Club 66, in Polonia, died at her daughter’s house Friday, April 20, 2018.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 24, at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home in Plover, with Pastor Steve Hulke officiating. Burial was in the Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.

Visitation was at the funeral home Tuesday.

Mrs. Greco was born May 19, 1929, in Milwaukee, a daughter of the late Arthur and Clara (Tetting) Jordan.

She was married to Salvatore “Sam” Greco July 8, 1948, in Menominee, Mich. They were married for 60 years before his death Nov. 11, 2008.

After the marriage, the couple settled in Milwaukee, moving to Polonia area in 1969. She eventually resided in Stevens Point.

She worked for Nun Bush while attending a girl’s technical college. From there, in 1953, she joined the United Steel Workers of America at the Continental Can Company. She was union member and retired from there in 1973.

Together, she and Sam owned and operated three Greco Pizzerias in the Milwaukee area starting in the 60s. When they moved to the Polonia area in 1969, they purchased and created Greco’s Club 66. They continued the pizza tradition together. She helped with Greco’s Prepared Foods and their Greco frozen pizzas.

Survivors in five children, Dennis (Donna) Greco, Custer, Donna (Terry) Hepting, Plover, Dominic Greco, Stevens Point, Daniel (Teri) Greco, Custer, and Stephanie Greco (Florian Jr.) Disher, Almond; two brothers, Alvin (Ruth) Jordan, Onalaska, and Bob (Darlene) Jordan, Stevens Point; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
