Peter enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was kindhearted and would help anyone in need. Peter enjoyed singing, playing guitar and piano, playing cards, doing puzzles and making them into pictures, along with knitting, making blankets, woodworking, fishing, and gardening. He could fix and build anything. He was an avid gospel and country music lover. Peter had a joking side to him and always kept you laughing.

He is survived by sons Rodney Knapp (Lisa Grass), Plover, Roy (Jenn) Knapp, Plover, grandchildren Kayla Knapp (Fiancé Nick Firkus), Ryan Knapp (Fiancée Jolene Kinney), Monica, Ashley, Tina, John, Jason (Britt), and many great grandchildren.
