Grant Applications Available Starting May 1, 2018

Every year, Frame Memorial Presbyterian Church offers community grants to local non-profit organizations. In 2017, Frame Memorial Presbyterian Church awarded over $13,800 to 20 non-profit organizations through the Community Grants Program. These grants help existing organizations continue their ongoing efforts to serve our community or to fund a new project within an existing organization. In addition to support from Frame Memorial Presbyterian Church members, the Danny Mitchell “Music on a Mission” concerts are a key fund raiser for the Frame Church Community Grant Fund.

According to Frame’s pastor Rev. Dr. Susan Zencka, “from start to finish, these grants are about partnership: we partner with Danny Mitchell and Frame members to raise funds; we give out the grants to non-profit organizations who we see as community mission partners; and then each fall, those organizations come to Frame on the first Sunday in October to share the stories of the work they are doing in our community. Each year, these community mission partners are making a difference to peoples’ lives; and we are excited to be able to make a difference in the work they are able to do.”

Portage County 501(c)(3) organizations that serve individuals, families or groups are eligible to apply for a grant. The grant application must demonstrate how the grant will be used to enhance people’s skills or meet their basic needs.

Applications will be available starting Tuesday, May 1, 2018. Organizations can obtain an application online at www.framepres.org or by emailing the church office at [email protected] Applications must be completed and returned to the church office by noon on Friday, June 1, 2018. Please contact the church office at 715.341.3040 or [email protected] with questions.
