Free concert to feature percussion music from the ‘60s

STEVENS POINT — The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Percussion Ensemble will continue its “Decades” series with a concert of music from the ‘60s.
The performance will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 10, in Michelsen Hall of the Noel Fine Arts Center. The Percussion Ensemble is directed by Brian Baldauff, assistant professor of percussion.
The concert will include “Trio for Percussion” by Warren Benson, “Trio for Percussion” by William Kraft and “Inventions on a Motive” by Michael Colgrass. Members of the UW-Stevens Point Jazz Ensemble will join for “In C” by Terry Riley.
The concert is free and open to the public.
