This photograph of a Stevens Point baseball team was apparently taken in 1931 by W.I La Certe, a photographer in Wausau.
Evie Pieczynski of Plover said she was going through some photographs belonging to her husband’s family and found this one.
Her husband’s father, the late Joseph Pieczynski, is shown in the middle of the back row wearing a tie and was probably the manager of the team.
However, she said family members were unable to identify any of the others. Anyone who knows any of the others is asked to call the Gazette at 715-343-8045.
