Food Collection for Local Pantries in all DigiCOPY locations

STEVENS POINT – In Wisconsin, over 600,000 people are struggling with hunger, and of that total, over 205,000 are children. Food insecurity exists in every county and congressional district in Wisconsin, and across the country. But not everyone struggling with hunger qualifies for state or federal nutrition assistance. To that end, in partnership with hunger fighting organizations across the state, all DigiCOPY stores have begun collecting non-perishable food items.
“Hunger doesn’t end at the holidays,” said Craig Shuler, DigiCOPY President/CEO. “Join us as we collect non-perishable food items for pantries in the communities we serve and work to reduce hunger in Wisconsin.” Food collection is during regular business hours; 7 AM to 10 PM Monday – Thursday, 7 AM to 7 PM Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM Saturday and Noon to 6 PM Sunday.
DigiCOPY is partnering with Feeding America at its store locations in Milwaukee, Stevens Point, Wausau and Green Bay, working with the Hunger Task Force in La Crosse and supporting efforts of Feed My People in Eau Claire. Co-workers collect the non-perishable food items in-store and deliver to their respective local pantry. For a DigiCOPY location near you, go to dcopy.net
