US 10 lane closures, speed reductions scheduled in Portage County

PORTAGE COUNTY — Motorists traveling on US 10, west of I-39, can expect single lane closures and speed reductions beginning Wednesday, May 23. The lane closures are necessary for crews to complete routine, seasonal maintenance on six structures located over:
- Portage County E
- The Wisconsin River
- The Wisconsin River wetlands
The speed limit will be reduced from 65 MPH to 55 MPH through the work zones.
All work is scheduled for completion before the end of the day, Thursday, May 31. The schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions.
