AMHERST –Join North Central Conservancy Trust (NCCT) and Heartland Bike Club as they host North Central Cycling for Tomorrow Tour, a free, fun and informative bike ride through the rolling countryside around preserved lands on June 23.

The ride starts and ends at Central Waters Brewery in Amherst. There are four route options to choose from, including 5-, 15-, 25- and 30-mile routes. Start time for the 15, 25 and 30-mile routes is 10:30 am, meeting in the Central Waters Brewery parking lot.

Start time for the 5-mile family ride, including a segment of the Tomorrow River State Trail is 11:00 am, also meeting in the Central Waters Brewery parking lot. Remember to purchase a $5.00 State Trail Pass before the ride or at the self-serve kiosk along the route.

After the ride enjoy a complimentary brew and chances to win Central Waters and biking gear from local bike shops. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about NCCT and the conservation work they do by visiting with easement landowners, who will be on-hand to discuss their beautiful protected properties. Finally, enjoy a delicious lunch available for purchase from Chef C’s Munchie Mobile!!

Heartland Bike Club is a club of bicycle enthusiasts who promote bicycling not only for its overall health benefits, but just as importantly for the opportunity to meet diverse people, create friendships, share riding experiences, and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow bicyclists. For more information visit www.heartlandclub.org.

North Central Conservancy Trust is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to protect worthy scenic, working lands and environmental resources for the benefit of the people of central Wisconsin. For more information call 715-344-1910 or visit www.ncctwi.org.
