Citizens’ Climate Lobby, Stevens Point Chapter meeting date set

STEVENS POINT — The Stevens Point Chapter of The Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL) will hold its monthly meeting at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, June 9, at Frame Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1300 Main Street in Stevens Point. New members are always welcome.
The purpose of CCL is to create the political will for a stable climate. To do this, CCL members write letters and meet with members of Congress and their aides. They also sponsor public lectures.
