Letter: Learn to sustain forest, waters, wetlands, and farmlands, at Energy Fair

To the Editor:
We live in a world that needs easily accessible information on clean energy and sustainable living now more than ever. Every oil spill, every nuclear disaster, every acid rainfall, every warmer day, and every coastal flood makes access to clean energy and sustainable living education even more critical.
That’s why on Friday, June 15, at 9:30 am, I am presenting a workshop on Land Trusts and Conservation Easements at The 29th Annual Energy Fair in Custer, WI. As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, North Central Conservancy Trust is dedicated to protecting the natural lands, waters and scenic farmlands of central Wisconsin. Come learn how you can help sustain the beautiful mix of forest, waters, wetlands, and farmlands that make central Wisconsin a special and thriving place to call home.
I’m excited and honored to be among 250+ presentations sharing our diverse knowledge about topics relating to clean energy and sustainable living at The Energy Fair. It is up to us to band together, learn from one another, and empower each other to take action towards a sustainable future. We can’t wait for leaders to make change. We must become the leaders. Together, we can and are building a sustainable tomorrow, that is powered by clean energy.
The Energy Fair is hosted by the Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA), which is a non-profit 501(c)(3) educational organization. Founded in 1990, the MREA promotes renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable living through education and demonstration. To learn more, call 715-592-6595 or visit www.TheEnergyFair.org.
