Portage County Sheriff’s K-9 fundraiser slated for June 30, July 1

STEVENS POINT — Another fundraiser has been announced for the Portage County Sheriff’s K-9 unit.

Held at Copps in Stevens Point, the event will run from June 30, through July 1. Kemps ice cream products be sold, as well as additional raffles. All proceeds from the event will go to the Portage County Sheriff’s K-9 unit. On hand will be the Kemps Moo-Mobile, which will be selling A&W jumbo root beer floats for $1 and ice cream sandwiches for 50 cents.

In addition, attendees can meet Sheriff Mike Lukas on Saturday, June 30 from 12PM – 2PM, Deputy Dan Wachowiak and K-9 Yent from 10AM – 4PM, and Deputy John White and K-9 Lady on Sunday, July 1, from 10AM to 5PM.

The following raffles prizes will be handed out to winners:

-1 case (12) Palermo’s Screamin’ Sicilian Pizzas
-1 case (12) Portesi Cheese Fries
-1 case (12) Orvs Bellatoria Pizzas
-1 case (12) DiGiorno Pizzas
-Pizza oven courtesy of Emil’s Pizza
-Star Dairy cheese basket
-2 sets of 4 Brewer tickets courtesy of Voortman Cookies
-$50 Copp’s gift card
-Deluxe corn hole board set courtesy of JT’s Woodcrafts
-Birdbath courtesy of T & T lawn Ornaments
-Red Bull ice barrel
-Home power wash service courtesy of Swittwater Pressure Washing
-1 case (12) Calidad tortilla chips and 1 case of salsa
-Point Brewery quad chair with cooler courtesy of General Beer
-1 case (12) Cameron Coffee 12oz ground

Donations are welcome for the event. Raffle tickets will be $1 each or six for $5. Copps is located at 1500 Pinecrest Ave.
