Armed robbery on Wyatt Avenue under investigation

STEVENS POINT — Police are investigating the report of an armed robbery early this morning.

The robbery took place at approximately 12:08 a.m. on the 1800 block of Wyatt Avenue. According to reports, the victim informed authorities that he was approached by two male subjects, one armed with a handgun.

The victim was then robbed at gunpoint, as he was asked to give up everything in his possession. After surrendering his items, the suspects fled southbound on Wyatt Avenue.

No injuries have been reported.

Suspect Descriptions are as follows:

  1. Male, White, 16 -18 yrs, approximately 5ft 8 in, average build, medium length wavy hair
  2. Male, Black, 16-18yrs, approximately 5 ft 10In – 6 ft, slender build. Short hair, dark shirt covering face.
