To the Editor:

We’re writing to express our thanks to all the donors who gave blood at the June 4 Plover/Whiting Red Cross Blood Drive.

56 pints of blood were donated and will help save many lives.  We congratulate Linda Meronk for reaching 17-gallon donation level; Mary Beth Shea, 10 gallons; Pauline Dahlinger, 5 gallons; Raymond Dix, 2 gallons; Elizabeth Heimlich, 1 gallon and Joseph Swiander, 1 gallon.

As co-chairs, we’re grateful to each donor, the sponsor of the drive, King Cone, and all the volunteers and Red Cross personnel who worked to make the drive the achievement it was.

Please mark August 6 on your calendar, the date of the next Red Cross Blood Drive at the Plover Municipal Building.  Donation hours will be from 1:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
