STEVENS POINT – Cellcom has selected 16 graduating high school seniors from across its service area to receive $750 scholarships, including Jessica Lange of Stevens Point Area Senior High School.

“Our scholarship application emphasizes community involvement, which is a core value of our business. Each of our recipients has gone above and beyond in the community to make a difference. We applaud the efforts of these exceptional students and support their continuing education,” said Brighid Riordan, senior director of public affairs and customer experience initiatives at Cellcom.

Other recipients include: Aaron Skubal (West De Pere High School), Jared Maurina (Ashwaubenon High School), Rachel Cutlan (Green Bay Southwest High School), Haley Lewallen (New London High School), Benjamin Brochtrup (Kaukauna High School), Amanda Rusch (Lincoln High School), Meghan LaCrosse (Southern Door High School), Jared Baudhuin (Southern Door High School), Alexis Ladick (Mosinee High School), Garrett Anklam (Wisconsin Valley Lutheran High School), Joanne Yoap (Coleman High School), Casey Kamm (Peshtigo High School), Alex Maynard (Oconto High School), Katie Banie (Sheboygan South High School), and Katie Pocian (Plymouth Comprehensive High School).

In addition to community involvement, recipients were selected on the basis of academic record, potential to succeed, leadership and participation in school activities, honors, work experience and an essay on community impact. Applicants are required to reside within a county in Wisconsin or Michigan where Cellcom operates and plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or technical school.
