STEVENS POINT — Seven years in the making, a mini-golf course has become an answered dream for one local family.
Will and Aloha Seitz, of Stevens Point, had a vision to see a mini golf course in their home town. After seven years of waiting for the right opportunity, their dream finally came to fruition.
With the help of local businesses such as Community First Bank, and Bernard’s Restaurant, they purchased the property that would become Putt N’ Play mini-golf course in October of 2017. The venue features an 18-hole indoor course, three of which are glow-in-the-dark, as well as arcade games, birthday party packages, food, and board games.
According to Aloha Seitz, word of a laser tag course would be “epic”, so they delivered on such a request, and recently added laser-tag to their arsenal, which Seitz calls a “one-of-a-kind” activity.
“The Laser Tag guns are no toy,” said Seitz. “They run off of Wi-Fi, and provide loads of fun for families and businesses seeking to ‘work as a team’.”
The course is also lit for night time gaming.
Putt N’ Play will celebrate their grand opening on Saturday, July 7, featuring a bunny petting station, raffle, free out door movie at dusk, an appearance from Mayor Mike Wiza, and an opportunity for Laser Tag coupons to the first 50 Laser Tag Customers.
Putt N’ Play is located at 701 Second St. North.
