High school students get creative at UW-Stevens Point this week

For SPN
High school students from across the state will enjoy creative, hands-on experiences in fine art, music and video production next week at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point’s Camp COFAC.
Sessions are taught by College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) faculty, with evening activities offering a taste of college life. There will be great visuals to capture as student get hands-on experiences:
- Creating fine art through a mixed media collage, figure drawing and typography design
- Practicing their instrument or voice through daily music master classes, individual lessons and group ensembles
- Developing an original short film through screenwriting, video camera operation, audio production and lighting workshops
Sessions will be held Monday through Friday, June 25-29. To learn more or get a schedule of the most visual and interactive activities, contact Carrie Heibler at 715-346-3572.
