Monthly meeting for Portage County Democratic Party announced

STEVENS POINT — The Portage County Democratic Party will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday, July 10, at the Party Headquarters at 2220 Division St. in Stevens Point.
Members may gather at 6PM to socialize prior to the meeting. At around 6:30 p.m., Ned Grossnickle and Max Johnson will report on their visit to Washington, DC, to attend the Climate Change Conference.
There, they – along with another 1,400 members – received two days of training and spent one day lobbying Congress members. They will share their experiences and reflect on what works. At around 7:30, elected officials and candidates will address the group, followed by a brief business meeting.
The public is invited to attend.
