STEVENS POINT — The ninth annual Z Tourney will be held Saturday, July 14, at Lakeside Bar, 736 Old Wausau Rd. to raise money for the Dan Zurawski Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Dan graduated from Pacelli and was pursuing a College of Natural Resources major at the University of Wisconsin-UWSP. In his sophomore year, he drowned at Buck Lake near Rhinelander in the summer of 2009. Dan’s family established the Dan Zurawski Memorial Scholarship Fund to honor his memory and help UWSP students carry on what Dan was unable to do by awarding an annual scholarship.

To fund the scholarship, the Z Tourney was created in July 2010 and is a fishing tournament held at Lakeside Bar with a beautiful view of the Wisconsin River. The event includes a raffle. Food is also available for purchase and being provided by the Arnott Lions Club.

For more information about the scholarship, please contact the Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin at www.cfcw.org
