Obituary: Chris S. Glodowski

Chris S. Glodowski 48, born March 18, 1970 passed away June 19, 2018 at Marshfield Hospital after suffering a massive stroke. Chris was the adopted son of Millie and Jake Glodowski.

Chris was a 1989 graduate of SPASH. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He entered active duty in Milwaukee on June 12, 1989. He earned the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, (2) Sea Service Deployment Ribbons, National Defense Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal, and Letter of Commendation. After serving on the USS Merrill, he was honorably discharged on March 13, 1992 from the Naval Station in San Diego, CA.

He was presently employed by Kwik Trip on Maria Drive. He is survived by his mother Millie, step father Jack Eckberg, sister Candice (Glodowski) Eckberg, step brothers: Roy Eckberg, Green Bay; Randall Eckberg, Boynton Beach, FL; Ryan (Bergit) Eckberg, Fuqua Varina, NC; niece Courtney Eckberg, and his nephews: Jacob, Joshua, and Colton Eckberg. He was preceded in death by his father Jake Glodowski, brother Ricky, grandparents Eleanor and Fred Schulz, Bernie and Bridget Glodowski, He will sadly be missed by his dog Lola. A private family burial will be held.
