Obituary: Cornelia R. “Corky” Klish
Cornelia R. “Corky” Klish, age 85 of Stevens Point, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018 at The Lodge at Whispering Pines with her loving family by her side. Corky was born on March 16, 1933 in Stevens Point, the daughter of Alois and Helena (Slagowski) Haka. She attended P.J. Jacobs High School. On August 30, 1952 Cornelia was united in marriage to Donald Klish at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Corky was a member of Holy Spirit Parish. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and camping but her passion was spending time in the kitchen baking, canning and cooking for her family. The meals created with her love always put a smile on the faces of her family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Corky’s family wishes to thank Ministry Hospice and the staff of The Lodge at Whispering Pines for the love, care and compassion that they gave our mother.
