STEVENS POINT — Team Schierl Companies hosted their annual charity Golf Classic on June 20, 2018 at the Stevens Point Country Club.  The sold-out event raised a record-breaking $115,504.00 with the help of golfers & sponsors, former Green Bay Packers players Randy Wright, Kevin Barry, Jared Abbrederis and Bill Ferrario.

Through a fantastic day of golf, activities on the course, raffle, silent & live auctions, and area company sponsors, the event raised more funds than ever before benefitting many deserving Central Wisconsin charities including Jeremiah’s Crossing, Breast Cancer Family Foundation, Stevens Point Softball Association, and the Boys & Girls Club of Portage County.  Corporate sponsors assisting the event included Great Lakes Coca-Cola, Miller Lite, and Midwest Communications radio stations 101.9 WDEZ, 95.5 WIFC and 99.9 WSAU.

“This year’s golf outing raised over $115,000 for charities in Central Wisconsin and is the largest event in our history. We are very humbled and thankful for the support we received from our sponsors, volunteers, Team Schierl Associates and participants. It is an amazing feeling knowing so many people are committed to help us raise this amount of money to benefit Central Wisconsin.” stated Fritz Schierl, Co-CEO.
