Jean M. Miller, age 84, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Acorn Hill Senior Living Community in Mosinee with her loving family by her side. She was under the care of Ministry Hospice.

Jean was born July 3, 1933 in Stevens Point, the daughter of the late Robert and Gertrude (Jewell) Scott. She attended P.J. Jacobs High School. On May 20, 1953 she was united in marriage to Donald Miller.

As a person who cared for others her entire life, she worked as a certified home health aide for decades in and around the Stevens Point area. Jean enjoyed spending time with family and friends, working on puzzles, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, researching family genealogy, listening to books on tape and fishing.

We will lovingly remember her compassion mixed with strong-willed personality and feistiness.

She is survived by her children, Nancy Miller, Mary (Walter) Suchon, Donna (Ted Jr.) Zinda, Donald Miller, Daniel (Kimberly) Miller, and Jim Miller; grandchildren, Yvonne Miller-Henry, Courtney (Brian Brown) Sikorski, Donnie Miller, Bobby (Terri) Miller, Rebecca (Tony) Gramling, Danielle (Tyler) Drewa, Destiny (Trent) Verhasselt, Dakotah Miller, Damianne Miller, Dillon (Vanessa DeHaven) Miller; great-grandchildren Sierra, Leah, Emma, Daniel, Ana, Devin, Brie-Ann, Michael, Emily, Isabella, Bentley, Brynley, and McKenna. She is further survived by her brother Thomas (Rose) Scott. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald, mother and father-in-law, brothers, Robert, Carl and infant brother Kenneth.

Jean requested a private family service with the Chaplain Mark Lewis officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ministry Hospice.

Jean’s family wishes to thank the staff of Ministry Hospice and Acorn Hill Senior Living Community for the care, love and compassion they showed her every day.

The Pisarski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Miller family. Online condolences maybe sent by visiting www.pisarskifuneralhome.com
