STEVENS POINT — The annual SpiritFEST at Holy Spirit Parish takes place from 11:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 22 on the church grounds of St. Stanislaus, 838 Fremont St.

The celebration takes on special meaning this year, as the 100th anniversary of St. Stanislaus church is celebrated throughout the year.  Holy Spirit Parish also welcomes Fr. Steve Brice, who began his duties as new pastor on July 1.

“Spiritfest is a wonderful way to build community by gathering together for worship, food and socialization,” said Brant Bergeron, SpiritFEST Committee Chair. “A special thank you to the committee of volunteers that lead different aspects of the event and to all the wonderful parishioners who have volunteered to make SpiritFEST a possibility.

“We look forward to seeing Holy Spirit parishioners and community members, family and friends at St. Stans grounds on July 22.”

Enjoy chicken dinner in Kostka Hall in the St. Stanislaus basement (11 AM), food/beverage tent with burgers, brats, fries and cheese curds on the grounds (11 AM), and live music from Old Time Brass (11 AM – 2 PM) and Goats in Trees (2 PM to 5 PM) in the music tent throughout the day.

Bid on 30 to 40 of the most enticing themed baskets you will see at any parish festival/picnic…all valued at least $100.  Try your luck at Bingo (1 PM) or the cake walk, stop by the free petting zoo (Noon – 3) or participate in complimentary youth games and activities or enjoy the book nook.  Something for all ages at SpiritFEST 2018.
