STEVENS POINT — The Roundy’s division of Kroger Co. announced on July 18 that the grocery delivery service now available in the Milwaukee and Madison areas is being expanded to communities throughout the state.
The grocer launched home delivery through the online service Instacart in March at 59 Pick ’n Save and Metro Market stores throughout the Milwaukee and Madison areas. The company said success of the delivery service is prompting Pick ’n Save and Metro Market to expand the service to reach more than 80 percent of their customers across the state of Wisconsin.
The two store brands will add the service Thursday at locations in Kenosha, Fond du Lac, Oshkosh, Appleton, Du Pere, Wisconsin Rapids, Stevens Point and Wausau.
“As part of Restock Kroger, we continue to invest in redefining our customers’ grocery shopping experience by bringing online and offline seamlessly together,” said James Hyland, vice president communications and public affairs for Roundy’s Supermarkets Inc. “Combined with our successful curbside program, we are providing an enhanced digital shopping experience to our customers.”
