A rundown of events happening in the Stevens Point area this week.

Thursday, July 26

Live Music: Samantha Fish – 6PM
-As a part of the Levitt AMP Series, enjoy music from one of the featured blues guitarists in the nation in Samantha Fish. This concert will be held at Pfiffner Park, 1100 Crosby Ave.

Saturday, July 28

Celebrate Plover (all day)
-Celebrate Plover is an all-day festival celebrating the very best the Plover area has to offer. Family activities, food, crafts, fireworks, and more. This event kicks off at Lake Pacawa, 1831 Maple Dr.

Impressions of Point – Iron Pour – 3PM
-Held at the Stevens Point Sculpture Park, 900 N. Second St., enjoy original work from artists Keith Kaziak, Stuart Morris and Mike Godell.

Wednesday, Aug. 1

Live Music: Charles Walker Band – 6PM
-As part of the PJ’s Live series, enjoy the best in blues from the Charles Walker Band, located at PJ’s, 601 N. Michigan Ave.

Thursday, Aug. 2

Occidental Brothers Dance Band International – 6PM
-The Levitt AMP Series continues with live music from the Occidental Brothers Dance Band, featuring high energy Central and West African dance music. This concert is held at the Pfiffner Park bandshell.

Saturday, Aug. 4

Animal Olympics – 2PM
-Held at Hartman Creek State Park in Waupaca, test your skills in competition with other animals, including jackrabbits, mountain lions, and more. Located at N2480 Hartman Creek Rd.

Rockabilly Car Show Weekend – 9AM
-Enjoy a weekend full of cars, pin-up contests, and a live concert from the Hi-Tones. This is all happening at the River’s Edge Campground, 3266 Campsite Dr.
