Rookies takes lead in golf standings

The second half of the golf season in the Central Wisconsin Men’s League is starting out to look like a battle of the haves and the have nots. Rookies Sports Pub has jumped on top of the league standings with Midwest Hardware close behind. The top five teams have distanced themselves from the rest of the pack after just two weeks of play.
A solid even par performance by John Charles led all players as he fired a 71 at Glacier Wood Golf Course. Tom Shafranski closed with a 73, Charlie Spaar 75, Greg Klug 77, Scott Krueger 78, and with 79s were Rhody Mallick and Todd Rice.
