Horseshoe Club holds tournament in support of Salvation Army

The Stevens Point Horseshoe Club held a tournament at Mead Park Saturday, Aug. 4, where the entry fee consisted of a non-perishable donation.

The organizers gathered enough food to fill two boxes, which were gladly accepted by the local Salvation Army.

Local Class Champions on the day were Susie Erickson of Eagle River (Class A), Ray Cayer of Stevens Point (Class B), and Jim Menzel of Stevens Point (Class C).
