Obituary: Lois M. Gribble

Lois M. Gribble, age 82, of Plover, passed away Tuesday September 4, 2018 at Whispering Pines in Plover surrounded by her loving family, and under the care of Heartland Hospice.
Funeral services for Lois will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday September 7, 2018 at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church: 3210 Maple Dr. Plover. Pastor Dave Ficken will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday and again from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Friday, both at the church. Shuda Funeral Service is assisting the family.
Lois was born June 25, 1936 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Francis and Lorraine (Kringel) Paque. She married Donald Gribble on August 6, 1953 in Milwaukee. The couple settled in Milwaukee and raised their family. They moved Stevens Point in 1963 and to Plover in 1970. Lois served as the Food Supervisor for the Stevens Point School System for 27 years until her retirement in 2000. Don and Lois enjoyed spending their retirement winters in Texas.
Lois studied and was well informed on proper nutrition for children; assisted kids in learning to read; served as a volunteer at St. Michaels Hospital; studied her genealogy; and enjoyed playing the piano and keyboard.
She is survived by her 6 children, Karen (Rick) Adams, Plover; Debra (Leonard) Jelinski, Plover; Kim Gribble, Stevens Point; Donna (Mike) Baumhofer, Plover; Lorie (Joe) Randazzo, Algonquin, IL; James (Debbie) Gribble, Plover. 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren. One brother Noel Paque, Wawatosa. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald in 2012, their daughter Susan in 1998, a grandson Anthony, and one brother: Donald Paque.
