Coats for Kids campaign begins to support Operation Bootstrap

STEVENS POINT/PLOVER – The Operation Bootstrap Coats for Kids collection begins Oct. 1 and runs through Oct. 31 in locations across Portage County.
Coats, hats, mittens and gloves can be donated at collection locations including: Traditions Cleaners, 3423 Main St., Stevens Point; NRG Media studios, 2301 Plover Rd., Plover; Woodlands Church, 190 Hoover Ave., Plover; DigiCOPY Stevens Point, 428 Division St., Stevens Point; Skyward, 2601 Skyward Dr., Stevens Point; and Sentry Insurance, 1800 Northpoint Dr., Stevens Point.
Other sponsors of the Coats for Kids program include Rotary International. Deadline to donate coats, hats, mittens and gloves is Oct. 31. All donations benefit Operation Bootstrap. Traditions will clean and deliver all items to Operation Bootstrap after the collection ends.
