Stevens Point area to host 2018 Wisconsin Fall Tourism Conference

Local tourism and hospitality businesses are welcome to attend the annual event November 8-9
STEVENS POINT — The Stevens Point Area will host the Wisconsin Fall Tourism Conference, November 8-9 at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Convention Center, 1001 Amber Avenue, Stevens Point. The Stevens Point Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (SPACVB) invites local hospitality and tourism partners to participate in this event supporting the state’s tourism industry in Wisconsin and the beneficial economic impact it has on the state.
The conference includes an exciting agenda featuring several keynote speakers and breakout sessions focused on placemaking, social media, content marketing and more. There will also be plenty of opportunities for attendees to network. The sessions also include an interactive marketplace and reception, followed by a dine-around in the Stevens Point Area. Friday’s sessions will kick off with the Wisconsin Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus (WACVB) presenting awards for the best Wisconsin tourism marketing and partnership campaigns. The award presentations will be followed by a state of the Wisconsin Tourism Industry presentation by the Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Tourism, Stephanie Klett.

For those unable to attend the entire conference, tickets are also available for the opening luncheon and keynote for $45. However, space is limited for the luncheon.
