Obituary: Lee Yenter

Lee Yenter passed away in his loving home with his family by his side on Friday, October 19, 2018 at the age of 52 after losing the one battle he could not win to pancreatic cancer. Lee was born in Stevens Point on April 5, 1966. He is the son of Richard and Lorraine (Richter) Yenter. He attended St. Adalbert School and graduated from Rosholt High School in 1984.
Lee was united in marriage to Kristyn (Hill) on April 22, 1989 at St. Bronislava Catholic Church.
He was employed as a Driver Sales Rep at XPO Logistics (formally Conway Freight) for 23 years.
Lee enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and playing a good round of golf. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Brewers, Packers and Badgers. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His sense of humor brought many smiles to all who knew him.
Lee is survived by; his wife, Kris; their children, Justin, Jordan, Jacob (Marissa Wulterkens) and Brianna; his parents Richard and Lorraine (Richter); brother Jess (Jane), sister Juanita (Jeff) Check, sister Pam (Frank) Middleton, sister Anne (Brian) Vogt, brother Jay (Krista), brother Kyle (Jenny); sister-in-law Kim Jersey and sister-in-law Suanne (Rich) Riley; 25 nieces and nephews; 9 great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Lee will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at St. Bronislava Catholic Church Plover. Rev. Ed Shuttleworth will officiate. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home 2911 Plover Road Plover and again on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the church. Parish rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials in Lee’s name will be established at a later date. Lee’s family would like to thank Dr. Peterson at Aspirus Regional Cancer Center and all the staff who helped in Lee’s care along with Aspirus Comfort Care Hospice Services for all their compassion and care shown to Lee and his family.
