Rosholt High School to hold Christmas Madrigal dinner

ROHSOLT — The Rosholt High School Fine Arts Department will present a Christmas Madrigal Dinner on Friday, November 9 and Saturday, Nov. 10 at 6PM and on Sunday, Nov. 11 at 4PM in the high school lobby/commons.

The evening of fine dining, music, mirth and merriment will feature theatrical performances, instrumental music and madrigal vocal performances in a “castle-like” setting.

Royalty and lords and ladies of the court in this year’s cast include Jordin Rekowski, Lilli Walder, Nick Dobbe, Rachel Beckland, Alex Frasch, Noah Santini, Dylan Gruna, Cassidy Frasch, Carlin Walski, Samantha Simonis, Ryan Glodowski, Abby Betker, Johanna Rutta, Gabby Kehring, Logan Lopez, Seth Delikowski, Rachel Kurszewski, Natasha Ockwig, Laurie Lewandowski and Morgan Simonis.  The Jester will be portrayed by Joelle Delikowski.  Performing in other theatrical roles will be Nathan Ockwig, Brandon Wagner, Brooklyn Karch, Lizzi Gizzi, Brooke Walder, Lexi Gruna, Erin Malek, Olivia Groshek, Emma Haines, Cindy Wagner, Amber Stanislawski, Laci Kumenius, Nicole Kurszewski, Ariel Lewandowski, Lucas Groshek, Joey Walder, Daniel Kurszewski, Keegan O’Donnell, Hailey Kurszewski, Breanna Kurszewski, Kaley Scott, Sophia Bablitch and Grace Betker.  Students from the Auditorium Tech Crew will serve as the technical crew, with Pat Hogan as technical director.

Court musicians will include Johanna Glodowski, Jenna Trzebiatowski, Jan Seiler, Connie Wojtasiak, Alan Marquardt, Patti Hoppa and Lisa Yenter.

The food will be catered by Michele’s Restaurant and Catering of Stevens Point.  The menu will include a main entrée of rosemary and citrus-glazed oven roast Cornish game hen with Stuffing Normandy, cheddar and chive baby red mashed potatoes, honey-glazed sweet carrots with dill, cream of potato leek soup, heritage greens with local cranberries, fresh white mushroom, candied walnuts, garlic croutons and poppy seed vinaigrette, crusty Elizabethan baguettes and wassail punch.  Dessert will be holiday cheesecake with wild berry topping.

Coordinator and director for the event is Kathryn Kawleski.

Cost for the four-course dinner and performance is $38.00.  Tickets may be purchased by calling Kathy Kawleski, Rosholt High School at 715-677-4541 or 715-677-3674, or by printing and returning the order form available on the school district website (https://www.rosholt.k12.wi.us/district/).  Tickets will be mailed out and seating will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.  The deadline for ordering tickets is Wednesday, Nov. 7.
