SPASH Panthers Rugby places fourth at state
The Stevens Point Area Senior High School (SPASH) Rugby Club placed fourth at the Wisconsin Girls Rugby State Finals in Milwaukee Sunday, Oct. 28.
“We had some tough competition in our division, and the girls learned a lot from these challenging matches,” said SPASH Rugby Club coach Carrie Diamond.
This year’s team included 31 girls from SPASH, Pacelli, home school, Amherst and Iola-Scandinavia.
Any are girls in grade 9 through 12 are welcome to join, and no experience is necessary.
