Obituary: Frank D. Pauc

Frank D. Pauc, age 85, of Amherst, WI, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Iola Living Assistance in Iola, WI. He was born December 24, 1932 in West Allis, WI; son of Frank C. and Mary (Francich) Pauc. On June 15, 1957, Frank married Bernadine A. Pestotnik in West Allis and together they shared 58 years of marriage before her passing on November 7, 2015. He served honorably in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Frank was an operating engineer for the City of West Allis Water Department for 31 years. He was a loving and faithful husband, father, and grandfather. Frank will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends.
Frank is survived by five sons, Frank (Karin) Pauc of Oak Creek, WI, Bruce Pauc of Manawa, WI, Michael (Connie) Pauc of Amherst, WI, John (Joni) Pauc of West Allis, WI, and Carl (Emily) Pauc of Green Bay, WI; fifteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Fred Pauc of West Allis, WI and Willie Pauc of West Allis, WI. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Pauc; his wife, Bernadine Pauc; two sons, Charles “Chuck” Pauc and Mark Pauc; and a sister, Mary Joerres.
A Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church – Fancher in Amherst, WI. Father Dan Hackel will preside. A visitation will be held on Thursday morning from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee on Thursday following the mass. The Jungers-Holly Funeral Home of Amherst is assisting the family with arrangements.
