Stevens Point Area Senior High School (SPASH) senior Jack Kelly was named to the 2018 Wisconsin Football Coaches Association (WFCA) All-State Team.

Kelly was a Large Schools Honorable Mention All-State selection at defensive end by the WFCA. In his third year as a starter on the defensive line, Kelly finished with 19 tackles and two tackles for loss, while he also started at running back for the Panthers.

He previously was named the Valley Football Association West Division (VFA WD) Defensive Player of the Year and the VFA WD Defensive Lineman of the Year.

The SPASH football team also had four players named Academic All-State by the WFCA in seniors Jacob Feltz, Austin Stankowski, Mason King and Vincent Garth.

Almond-Bancroft High School senior Noah Kollock, and Pacelli Catholic High School seniors Jonah Peplinski and Brad Raflik were also selected Academic All-State.

The Individual Academic All-State Awards are given to senior letterwinners with a 3.75 cumulative GPA or higher.

Senior running back and NCAA Division 1 FCS North Dakota State recruit Dylan Hendricks of Pulaski was chosen as the Large School Offensive Player of the Year, and senior defensive end and North Dakota State recruit Ryan Reed of Waunakee was selected as the Large School Defensive Player of the Year by the WFCA.

Senior running back/linebacker and NCAA Division 1 University of Wisconsin recruit Leo Chenal of Grantsburg was named both the Small School Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year by the WFCA.
